Bobbie Bemus' Obituary
Bobbie J. Bemus, age 80, of Madison Heights, passed away July 18, 2010. She was born June 18, 1930 in Cookeville, Tennessee. Beloved wife of Paul Bemus whom she married May 1, 1970. Dearest mother of Gary Bemus, Dan Bemus, and Peggy Bemus. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, her daughter in law Claudia Anderson, and brothers Wallace (Wilma) Montgomery and Jay Montgomery. She is predeceased by her children Al Anderson, Jesse Anderson, Marti Anderson, Tim Bemus, and Mary Bemus.. She was the past owner, and “soup- maker”, of Shanty Bar in Hazel Park. Visitation Wednesday 3 – 9 pm, with the funeral Thursday at 11 am, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park. Memorial donations may be made to The American Lung Association.
