Beverly met her sweetheart Roderick Turner at National Bank of Detroit and they were married at St. Mary Chapel in Greenfield Village on September 28, 1957. Beverly stopped working when they started their family and returned to the Bank after their youngest daughter started school and continued to work there until she retired.
As a member of Dearborn Christian Church/St. Paul’s United Church of Christ she played an important role as an Elder, choir member and organizer of community service. She loved hosting the annual Easter Pancake Breakfast and wore many hats.
