Betty Ryntz's Obituary
Betty Lou Ryntz, 71, a Troy resident, formerly of Madison Heights, passed away October 24, 2010 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She was born May 15, 1939 in Detroit. Dear mother of Kevin (Nancy Pomeroy), Kenneth (Susan), Brian (Tonia), and Tina Crame (Gordon Miller); dearest grandmother of Richard, Heather, Daniel, Keri, Candace, Colton, Britnee, Blake, Jacob and Kylee Ryntz; and great grandmother of Joslyn, Brooklyn, Riley, Alivia, Mallory and Kaylee; also survived by twin brother, Robert Friel (Beulah) of Citrus Heights, CA; brother in-laws Edward (Mary Ann) and Charles (Carol) Ryntz; sister in-laws Mary Friel and JoAnne Prieur. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas; parents, Herman and Rhea (Lossing) Friel; one brother, Edward Friel and sister in-law, Etsuko Friel. Mrs. Ryntz was a member of St. Magdalen Church, Hazel Park who loved helping others and enjoyed spending time with her family. Visitation Wed. 6-9 p.m., Thurs. 2-9 p.m., rosary at 7 pm, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R., Madison Heights; Services Friday 9:30 am instate followed by a 10 am mass, at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park; burial Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills.
