Betty Opal Blackhawk, age 87 of St. Clair Shores, Michigan passed away on April 13, 2026 in Madison Heights, Michigan. She was born on March 8, 1939 in Big Sandy, West Virginia to Ance and Vada (Newcomb) Gibson.
She is the Beloved Wife of the late Chief Wally E. Blackhawk. Survived by her loving children, Mitchell Moore, Juanita Christano, Georgene Grieb, George Greib, Joseph Greib, Noah Stellarious and predeceased by her daughter, Mary Grieb Milne. Many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21st from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
