Bette was pure of heart. She had so much love overflowing. I think she saw the true VALUE in everyONE and everyTHING. I will miss her.
Bette enriched our CLA meetings each week with her warm smile. We were amused that she told people she was going to her "sewing circle meetings." Her kindness toward everyone was inspiring. She shared many tales of how supportive Gene was. Bette would be intrigued at an online guest book, since she was not computer savvy. Bette will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.
I met Betty when I first joined the Dolls and Friends Club in 1982. Her mother was a good friend and a wonderful doll collector. I would see Betty occasionally at club parties. She was a very quiet and shy woman with great compassion. My husband and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to your family for your loss. We will always remember her kindness and friendship.
BETTE, YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.YOUR SUNNY SMILE AND DISPOSITION COULD TURN A CLOUDY DAY BRIGHT! IT WAS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE YOU! YOU WERE OUR FRIEND AND FAITHFUL EMPLOYEE FOR 24 YEARS! THE RESIDENTS AND STAFF OF CAMBRIDGE NORTH
My condolences to Betty's family and friends. I have enjoyed visiting with her over the years at RMS conventions. Her smile and laughter will be missed.
OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. BETTE AND GENE WERE OUR VERY FIRST MATCH HOBBY FRIENDS. WE MET THEM IN KITCHENER, ONTARIO IN 1993. AND WE SO LOOKED FORWARD TO SEEING THEM EVERY YEAR. BETTE WAS SUCH A JOY. EVERYONE LOVED HER. SHE WILL BE MISSED SO MUCH.
Betty, you will be missed by all of us in the matchbook hobby, and, I'm sure, by your fellow collectors in your other areas of interest.
Rest in peace!
Our sympathies to the family and Gene. She will be missed by all of us who knew her as the sweet and wonderful collector she was.
We are sorry to hear your loss of Betty. Meeting her through Gene Clifford years ago, we always felt that she was a very sweet soul and will be missed.
