Beth Karen Thies, age 74, of Hazel Park passed away on January 18, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 5, 1943 to Robert and Mary Baker.
Beloved wife of Ronald for 55 years. Dear mother of Bonnie (Jeffrey) Rinkus, Barbara Strick, Brenda (David) Hill, and Ronald (Michelle) Thies, Jr. Grandmother of Monica (Allan), Brian, Craig, Marina, Lauren, Brooke, Rayna, Addison, Luke and Nolan. Great grandmother of Raelynn. She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Nielsen.
Visitation Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 3-9 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights (one block north of 13 Mile Road on the east side of John R Road). Instate Monday, January 23, 2017 at 10 am with service at 11 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 202 East Fifth Street, Royal Oak.
