Bernadette T. Cook's Obituary
Bernadette T. Cook, age 91 of Sterling Heights, Michigan peacefully passed away on January 23, 2021 in her loving home. She was born on October 2, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan.
Beloved Wife of the late Roy Cook. Loving Mother of Elizabeth Gray and Thomas (Wendy) Cook. Dear Grandmother of Andrew, Dustin, Holly, Aria, Madison, and Allison. Sister in law of Joan Cook. She is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Annette Pankowski and her siblings.
She was a former Vice President and former Treasurer of the St. Rene Parish Women’s Club. Bernadette retired from Chrysler and later worked at the Sterling Heights Public Library and was a teacher’s aide for the Reading Readiness Program at County Line Elementary School in Sterling Heights and also served there as an Assistant Leader with the Brownies and Girl Scouts.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Rosary Service time pending) at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. The Funeral will be held on Thursday, January 28th with Instate at 9:00 am and the Funeral Mass at 9:30 am at St. Rene Goupil Parish, 35955 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
