Barbara J. Spitzer, age 73, of Troy, Michigan, passed away January 14, 2013 in Royal Oak, Michigan. She was born in Putnam County, Tennessee on March 31, 1939.
Beloved wife of the late Charles. Loving Mother of Danny,Susan,Chuck,Ronnie,James,Debbie and the late Donald (twin brother of Danny). Grandmother of Chuckie, Derrick and Brenda. Great grandmother of 6. Also, survived by her nephew Tommy and nieces Brenda and Rachelle.She is predeceased by her parents Carmel and Carlita Mae(Clemons) Burgess and her brothers James and Donald Burgess. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R, Madison Heights, MI 48071. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 2784 E. Square Lake Road, Troy, 48086, with visitation at 10:00 am followed by an 11:00 am service. Burial in Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills.
