Barbara Ann Sell's Obituary
Barbara Sell, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her Clawson home. She was born in Crystal Falls, Michigan on November 14, 1936. She is predeceased by her husband, Gerald, of nearly 58 years. Mother of Eric (Sharon, deceased) of West Bloomfield, Michigan, Thor (Paul) of Chicago, Illinois, Kevin (Nancy) of Detroit, Michigan, Laurie (John) Meyers of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Leif (Melissa) of South Haven, Michigan and Lance (Michelle) of Troy, Michigan. Sister of Lawrence, Mary Jean (deceased) and Michael, grandmother thirteen grandchildren, and aunt of 15 nephews and 4 nieces.
Barb was the owner of Barb’s Copper County Kitchen in Clawson for the past 34 years. She graduated from Hazel Park High School in 1954.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s and Hospice.
Visitation, Sunday, March 18th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Scripture Service at 7:00 pm) at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, Michigan. Funeral to be held on Monday, March 19th with 10:00 am Instate followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass at St. James Catholic Church, Ferndale, Michigan. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan.
