Until probably adulthood, I actually thought Barbara and Allie were my aunt and uncle but turns out Barbara was my mom’s cousin. Still, I looked to them both as an aunt and uncle. Every time I saw Uncle Allie, he would tell stories about my dad and I cherished that. I will always be grateful for Uncle Allie because he introduced my mom to my step-dad after my father passed away. He will be forever in my heart! May he Rest In Peace!
