Alfred Allen, age 63 of Ferndale. He passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at his home. Mr. Allen was born on Monday, January 20, 1947 in Hazel Park, MI.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Brigitte Allen. Father of Donald Allen and Andrea (Jeffrey) Clayton. Grandfather of Jarred and Avery. Son of Margaret Allen. Brother of Jean Phipps, Betty Baker, Joyce (Dan) Chadwick, Joanne (Mitchell) Saber, Colleen (Don) McGowan and Margaret (Dave) Giancola. Uncle of 20 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Allen is predeceased by his father, Alfred Allen; his brother, Gerald and his brother in law, Wilfred Phipps.
Visitation Tuesday 3 pm – 9 pm, Funeral Service Wednesday 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. Pastor Scott Gentry will officiate. Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
