My brother, Dave, meet Ray on September 5, 2021 at White Chapel while visiting the resting please of our mom and sister. My brother wrote, "Had the pleasure of meeting Ray at the cemetery today. His wife is resting close to my mom. We chatted for about 45 minutes today. He is 85 years old. Married for 65 of those years. His wife passed in 2019 and he had this beautiful marker put down for her. He visits every day of the year to see her and keep to keep this (her marker) absolutely picture perfect. You can truly see the sorrow in his face and eyes. What a true gentleman. I feel honored to meet him."
My brother looked forward to visiting with Ray the cemetery. May he rest in peace with his wife, Beverly. Perhaps he will have the opportunity to visit with my brother in heaven as he passed in December 2023.
