Adolph E. Hunacek's Obituary
Adolph E. Hunacek, age 99 and five months of Ferndale, Michigan passed away August 29, 2018 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on March 27, 1919 in South Souix City, Nebraska to Louis and Marie Hunacek.
Beloved husband seventy years of the late Caroline Hunacek. Dear father of Doris Hunacek, Marie (Rick) Ferguson and Robert (Tamela) Hunacek. Loving grandpa of Nikki (Allen) Walker, Jonathon Hunacek, Jeremy Hunacek, Sam Midkiff, Glenn Midkiff and Dale Midkiff. Uncle “Auddie” was loved by many nieces and nephews.
Adolph served in the United States Coast Guard in World War II. His hobbies included gardening, walking in the mall, crossword & jigsaw puzzles, watching wrestling and a love for dogs.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 31st from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Scripture Service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. The Funeral will be held on Saturday, September 1st beginning with 10:30 am Instate followed by the 11:00 am Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park, Michigan. Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan with military honors.
