I remember a great deal about "Grandpa Floyd" from a very young age. He was always kind to my family & I sure did get along with him; always joking. When ever he was around for whatever was going on he was the life of the event with his heart warming laugh and always happy & smiling. I remember when he & Grandma visited us in the U.P. & he brought us all kinds of fruit, nuts, & candy. We thought it was the greatest thing since there wasn't a big abundance of fruit up there. And the candy canes were those huge big sticks, which we enjoyed since our Dad rarely let us have candy. He also treated my Mom like his own & was good to her. I remember once when I invited him & Grandma Rose over for chicken dinner and boy did they love that! I didn't have any leftovers to put away! Always remember Floyd Sr.; that you were always in our hearts and now I wish I had visited you & feel badly that I couldn't say goodbye. You're in a better place now & will never be forgotten, until all of us meet up there in Heaven to be together again.
