We are the daughter and son-in-law to Leonard & Donna Deal. Carel was a life long friend to my mother's side of the family. She was a very special lady. I remember her well growing up. She attended many family functions. I especially remember her coming to my high school and college graduation parties. We have not personally kept in touch through my adult years except through my aunt, but I have never forgotten what a wonderful woman she was. She will be missed by many.
My mom's (Rita) best friend for so many years. I have many good memories which I am thankful for. I'm sure my mom was part of the greeting committee in Heaven.
