Condolences and sympathy to the family. My dad, Ronnie McKinney, served with Mr. Switalski in the Army at Fort Knox, KY in 1965-66. My dad was just reminiscing about his service days and his close friendship with "Ski" during that time. He is heartbroken to find out that his dear friend has passed away. Again, condolences from our family to yours.
I was so sorry to hear this news. Please accept my condolences. As a kid, he was imposing but so kind to me. I'm sure (like all our dads) we drove him a little nuts. He'll be missed. -Liz McHalpine
I lived several houses from Leo and we had lots of fun playing ping pong,board games,and baseball with the other kids.
