Robert Gerald Shelton, age 85 of Warren, Michigan passed away on April 7, 2022 at Beaumont Hospital, in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on September 6, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Lonzo and Mattie Shelton. Robert is predeceased by his first wife, Wanda Lee Shelton, and was the beloved husband of the late Marlene Shelton. Dear Father of Robert Lee (Marilyn) Shelton, David Gerald (Linda Sue) Shelton, Patty Ann Cremeans, Terry (Tina) Shelton, Julie (Ricky) Gibbins, Lisa (Vito) Zerilli, Ricky (Bev) LaFollette, and Kelly Hendrick. Robert is pre-deceased by his children; Jerry Lee Shelton, Russ Hendrick, Jackie (surviving, David) Jacks, and Ronnie (surviving, Sue) Hendrick, and 5 grandchildren. He is survived by many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday, April 11th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery.
