Harold G. McCloud

Harold G. McCloud (Mac) 91, formerly of Royal Oak, MI passed away on February 8, 2022. He was born in Detroit on July 10, 1930. Mac was the beloved husband of the late Valentina McCloud(Picogna). He is survived by his Sister Nancy McHarg, his children, Tim (Sharon), Lisa (Daniel), Nina (David), and Eric, and grandchildren, Tim (Jay), Jenny(JP), Ryan (Danielle), Joshua, Emily (Derek), Dominick, and Anthony. He’s also survived by his great grandchildren, Tyler, Parker, Eli, Lilli, Avianna and Wyatt. Mac joined the Navy as a teenager and started his education in electrical work during his service. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1950. He soon began his career as an Electrician with IBEW Local #58. He retired from the Union but remained a member until his passing. Tina and Mac moved to Northern Michigan after they retired to live on a lake in National City. Mac enjoyed fishing and hunting, so moving to Northern Michigan allowed him to enjoy those hobbies for many years. The family has elected to postpone a Memorial Service until Spring/Summer when Mac will join his wife in burial at their chosen location in Northern Michigan.
