It’s almost been a year and I have cried many times. You were so brave and fought so hard right up to the end. The nurse laughed over our funny stories and I tried to surprise you with slushes that you could barely drink. You were most worried about Heather and how she would take it. Rightly so ,but all of us were devastated to lose such a wonderful soul. May you Rest In Peace. I will treasure my memories of you always. Love , Kim
I am at a loss as what to say. I know after awhile you get tired of hearing I’m so sorry, but it seems to be all we can do at times like this.
I am blessed to have wonderful memories from our young teen years together Cricket. I remember your parents calling you Cricket and me Rabbit because my nose wiggled when I ate. All those fun times working on the ice cream truck together. I still smile when I hear that corney music coming from ice cream trucks today. We had good times and bad times, crazy times and some that will stay between you and me forever. I’m sorry we didn’t get to spend our golden years laughing about those days. But I know you fought a battle to stay but the cancer took over and stole you from us.
So for now my friend I say goodbye till the day we see each other again.
