Diane G. White

September 7, 1951 - April 11, 2022

Diane G. White passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the age of 70 from complications of Parkinson's Disease. In the days leading up to her death she was surrounded by her 4 children as they shared stories, memories, laughter and tears. Diane graduated from Everett High School in Lansing, Michigan in 1969 and went on to Detroit Bible College where she met and married her husband Mark in 1974. Together they had 4 children, and spent their early years teaching and mentoring students at William Tyndale College and serving on staff at Troy Baptist Church. Diane also taught piano for many years while raising her family and later in life, went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She worked for 25 years in different areas of the medical field, her favorite of which was training doctors and nurses how to use the information technology system. Diane also served faithfully at Highland Park Baptist Church for 20 years, singing in the Choir, serving on the mission board and working in the nursery loving on babies once hers were all grown up. More than anything, Diane loved the Lord and her faith was central to everything she did. She loved to read, garden, calligraphy, sing and listen to music. She loved the color blue, hated the color green and endured being teased by her children for holding out the last note of every song she sang. Diane is survived by her daughter Rachael (Ron) and their three children, Jonathon, Rebekah and Benjamin; her daughter Hannah (Matt) and their two children Hazel and Leo; her daughter Sarah (Sean) and her son Mark. She also leaves behind her brother Gary (Betty), her sister in law Laura, brothers in law Robert and Paul, and 4 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark, her parents Gaylord and Doris and her sister Janice. Diane will be remembered by all who loved her as a strong and generous woman, a faithful friend and most importantly a servant of God. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, April 19th, at 10:00 am and continues until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
