Carmen “Chichi” Bartolone, age 80 of Allen Park, Michigan and formerly of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on October 19, 2021 at William Beaumont Hospital, Dearborn, Michigan. He was born on February 12, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan. Chichi is pre-deceased by his parents, Carmine and Stella Bartolone. He is survived by his younger siblings (being the oldest of the 4), Rosemarie Beffrey, Phillip Bartolone and Michael Bartolone. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Chichi loved to make people laugh and never passed up an opportunity to tell a joke. He enjoyed sports. In his younger years he played basketball and baseball for Lamphere High School, where he graduated in 1960. He played many years of softball for various teams with his brothers Phil and Mike. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He continued to do both well into his 70s. He also enjoyed watching sports on TV, college basketball, golf and women’s softball were some of his favorites. He had various jobs throughout his life. He worked for Fords, he owned and operated a restaurant and worked at a golf course. But the job he took pride in and found the most fulfilling was taking care of his parents. Chichi, along with his sister and brothers took care of their parents and kept them comfortable as they aged and until they passed; Stella in 2003 and Carmine in 2006. A memorial service will be held in the mausoleum on Tuesday October 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm at White Chapel Cemetery all are welcome to join the family. Donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in loving memory of Chichi.
