Tom visited us a couple of years ago, and I took him to see the USS Wilmington. He told me many times he enjoyed everything my husband and I had planned for him during his stay, but that was at the top of his list.
He loved the 'goodie' package I'd send him every Christmas...and he told me mid-December he had received this year's, and he and his sister had enjoyed some of it already.
I will sorely miss our frequent talks...Tom's sister-in-law, Pat
