I met Sam Mauro while working for him at the Dairy Queen/Putt Putt during high school. He was my first boss...firm, but very kind. That was nearly 30 years ago and I’ve had the pleasure of running into him a couple times after that. He was a nice man and I will always remember him. So sorry for your loss.
