After 40 years of friendship with Chuck it's hard to pick one memory or funny story as there are so many. Memories from our work together at Lutheran Brotherhood, hunting with his kids or stories about the time we almost burned down our hunting camp. Maybe how we drove 50 miles in the wrong direction or sliding down the road sideways after a major car accident would provide an interesting story . But my memories always seem to dwell on how we liked to kid each other or get a reaction from something we'd say to tick the other off. He could take it and he could dish it out as well. So funny.
But the thing I remember most was his good nature and Love of his family. That is the story I'd like to share. How he enriched the lives of those around him. My life was surely enriched by our friendship and I'm sure the same could be said of you. Chuck will be missed but never forgotten. My love and prayers to the entire family.
