Sue to know her well was to Love her…a girl named Sue…oh how we joked so often about that song.
So many lives were touched by her infectious laugh, generosity and Godly heart.
We shared countless hours of stories of how she was raised from humble but joyous beginnings in Tennessee and her love of family…present and past…that forever filled her heart and life. Without a doubt my life is and was so much better because of those warm strong hugs and words of encouragement that Gods plan is always the best and we must believe in his wisdom.
I can still hear her speak about her admiration and Joy of Elvis, Listening to Merle Haggard songs, her fur babies, gardening, frogs, beautiful scenery and creating things to name a few and watching the charmed and complicated lives of the Kardashians. Nothing of course compared to the deep love of her husband and soul mate Glenn and her pride and undying love for her children with their families that made her life complete. When you heard her speak of them and look longingly at the pretty pictures they made for her and how she lived to hear and relive the memories of their lives…you knew how deep and eternal a mothers love runs.
Like many others I am sure the lesson that her life teaches me is that precious time spent with loved ones and taking time for others will be what we remember and not our possessions. Although my many tears now will take time to fade…I will feel immensely blessed by our friendship and know that I am a better person for having her in my life.
Rest peacefully Sue cause you can now watch over your loved ones and they can share their lives with you through prayer. Love you forever and a day
Vicky
