Dearest Black Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I met Matt when he was in sixth grade and will never forget his smile. He has floated in and out my door many times and was always full of enthusiasm and stories about what he is doing. He always seemed to love life. His presence will be missed. I will miss him always. Matt was a student in my racial diversity class last fall. I loved him! He was a great participant in class discussions and on several occasions sent me materials he thought would help with the class. I was shocked today to see his obit in CMLife. My condolences to his family and friends. He made such a positive impact on me and the other members of the class.

You were the best neighbor and friend a kid could ask for, you and your brothers and sister were like the siblings I never had, I will always remember summers and hot dogs, fall and leaves, Tim and Eric scaring the crap out of me, winter and snowball fights.
