I knew Johnny most of my life , he was a 2nd dad to me , he taught me so many things , how to hunt , shoot a gun , shoot a bow , gut a deer , clean a fish .. he was definitely a friend a friend would love to have .. so many fun memories .. he gave me a job at a young age , taught me a good work ethic .. I will cherish my memories of him! I often share our hunting stories with my friends , daughter .. I will share one .. we were tracking a deer in about a foot of snow till we got lost , got dark and cold.. I was getting a little freaked out, he could tell and he looked at me and said ,” buddy,looks like we are lost , if we have to stay out here tonight .. if we do , you are gonna be the girl “ I looked at him and we both started cracking up “ the timing of that joke was just enough to distract my mind from thinking we were going to freeze to death .. John was a great man . He will be missed by many , he left a big mark on this world , god bless his soul !!
