John was always so nice to me and lee. He would see us out walking and stop and spend an hour talking to us. He had a huge heart and will be missed. My sympathy to the family
John and Anita have been wonderful and thoughtful next door neighbors to my parents for as long as I can remember - has to be over 40 years. John was such a blessing to our family after my Dad passed - making sure my mom's snow was done and other things I'm sure I'm not even aware of. I'm sorry for your loss Anita and family. Thankfully he is now free from pain and is in Heaven along with all those who left before him. We pray for comfort and peace for you in the coming days/weeks/months. I had the privilege of meeting my dear Buddy at Parkview Church of Christ. He always picked on me and I on him. He was a great shining light for me and all who knew him. I miss him so much. I am very blessed to have known him, and he left me with my friends, his precious wife Anita and his daughter Vera as well as Rebecca and Rachael my girls. I am a better person because of his great influence.
