I so sorry hear of the loss of James you have my sincere sympathy. My prayer are with the family always remember at Acts 24:15, "and I have hope toward God that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous." May we see our "loved" on soon with God's undeserved kindess.
This is a very sad time for those who knew and loved James. When we lose a loved one to death, it leaves a void in our lives. We mourn the loss of our loved one because our hearts and minds tell us death is not right. Death is of course God’s enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) Therefore, God in his infinite wisdom has made arrangements through his Son Christ Jesus to restore paradise and resurrect our loved ones.
